Forced screen aspect ratio enchancement #693

I do have a 1024x768 16:9 plasma screen. The problem is the Ubuntu always 
treats this screen as 4:3. I can force the default aspect ratio to be 16:9 in 
SMPlayer, but with Gnome MPlayer I see no such feature.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I have to adjust the aspect ratio after starting each video file playback.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Gnome MPlayer 1.0.8
Ubuntu 13.4 64bit
