Trying to play DVD from usb optical drive, choose File, Disc, Open DVD with
Menus. Shows "Loading" then "Stopped". Running from the command line and
trying to do the same yields:

Running version 1.0.8 on Ubuntu 14.04. As stated in the title, playing DVD
from the
command line using mplayer works fine.
