Thanks for your contribution, @hanteng; it is much appreciated.

However, we manage all of our translations through Transifex. Handling the headers of the .po files is tricky, and since they should be edited upon every modification, we delegate this to Transifex (and its automation).

I believe @12rambau will have to add Chinese to the list of languages available. Then, you can join the team at https://explore.transifex.com/12rambau/pydata-sphinx-theme/ to add these translations (vs. through this PR).

@12rambau would you be able to add Chinese to the project's languages?

Is there a way to add a line to all the .po and other translation files "do nto translate this by hand, do it via transifex" ?

Hmmm 🤔 that would be my expectation but after checking the Transifex docs I could not find anything like that.

So you cannot modify the .po file unfortuantely has the header is completely controlled by the tool that generate them, I tried with crowdin and Transifex that just lead to more merge conflicts. The transifex project is advertised in the readme but not in the documentation so I think this page should be edited: https://pydata-sphinx-theme.readthedocs.io/en/stable/community/topics/i18n.html
