From my notes:

then release steps -> do this in pyenergyplus on github.com site

on local

rebase master on local # just checking
- git pull --rebase upstream master
add commit messages to History.rst
make docs and review
do bumpversion on master
push master to santoshphilip
pull request in pyenergyplus
merge pull in pyenergyplus
rebase on master local
- git pull --rebase upstream master
push master on local to remote

pyenergyplus on github.com site

make new release and tag with version number

on local

use "make release" to release to pypi
update readthedocs`
