Show reload time on guns/missiles/modules #900

Open Cosmitz opened 7 years ago

As a stat on the fitted module itself alongside tracking and range. Or cycle time for modules.

imho there are just a hand full of reload times ingame, which are not changing mostly. cycletimes are more variable but i don't feel like they are important enough to give this information an such exposed space in the gui

Both can be found under item attributes if you really want to see it. We already have boatloads of information on the screen, 99.999999999% of our users won't care about being able to see reload or cycle time at a glance.

Showing end result is important (which we do, with the DPS/tank numbers). I see absolutely no reason to expose this at any higher of a level than it currently is.

The one exception might be for special modules like Ancillary reppers. But again, it's easy enough to find that info under the item pane.

Artillery guns and railguns shoot 'rare enough' that you might maneuver between shots. And cycle times help for a fuller picture of what's going on beyond DPS.

That's what volley number is for.

Hmm. It wouldn't be too difficult to add cycle time to the volley tooltip, nor would that clutter up the screen any more than it is..
