Search&Replace doesn't seem to work #385

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. input "\+(.*),00\1" into Search&Replace
2. call a number starting with +

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The + should be replaced with 00, but nothing is replaced.

What version of the product are you using? On what device/operating 
system?
Sipdroid 1.4 beta, T-Mobile G1, CyanogenMod 4.2.15.1

Which SIP server are you using? What happens with PBXes?
PBXes

Which type of network are you using?
3G, WiFi

same problem here, sipdroid 2.1 on nexus one.
