the examples need to be pruned more than anything, as many are next to useless.
this is the correct spot -- it's the website that's broken. if you wouldn't mind also creating this same issue/task in the pyjs.git repo:

... that would be fantastic. i will be addressing this some as i continue work on the build/support systems.

Quite a few of the examples on pyjs.org/examples are broken. Not exactly a great advert for pyjs.
This is probably the wrong place to post this as the examples don't seem to live under this repo, but I couldn't find any direct contact details on the pyjs site (and I didn't want to sign up to the mailing list).
