The Qiskit community team at IBM Quantum has launched a new program called Quantum Explorers, a beginner-friendly, gamified approach to learning quantum computing. I'm Radha Pyari Sandhir, the India Community Lead at IBM Quantum, and a woman in quantum who is eager to see more women embark on this journey! I'd like to invite you to join us.
Qiskit is IBM Quantum’s open source python framework to program quantum computers.
If you're wondering why people should learn quantum, please check out: 7 Reasons You Should Learn Quantum Computing Now.
Aimed at high school students and above, but open to everyone from industry professionals to quantum enthusiasts, Quantum Explorers is a self-paced quantum training track comprised of engaging study materials, seminars, mentor support, gamified achievements to unlock, and career advice. Participants will gain a general understanding of quantum computing, some of its applications such as quantum machine learning and quantum optimization, and program real quantum computers. These skills will help prepare participants for exciting industry and academia opportunities.
Details
The program will be live from August 2022 to February 2023.
Total materials cover approximately 34 to 70 hours spanning over these 6 months, but the level of engagement can be determined by the participant.
This program will take place on a dedicated Discord server.

Any help you can provide in bringing this opportunity to the attention of potential participants would be greatly appreciated, perhaps via circulating this event, its details, and the flyer linked above to STEM students and/or professionals. We'd particularly like to encourage women and girls in STEM to sign up for this program.
As part of the program, we’re also conducting a series of invited talks from successful women in the quantum industry to inspire the next generation called Quantum Women Invited Talks.
The first one is next week, August 25th. Details about this event and the webinar series are here: qisk.it/3QsR987
