PyCon Portugal 2023 #63

Hi there,

I am a member of PyCon Portugal organising team. We had our first ever PyCon (https:2022.pycon.pt) event last year, in Porto, alongside DjangoCon Europe, that we also organised (https://2022.djangocon.eu). For this second edition (https://2023.pycon.pt), September 7 - 9 in Coimbra, we want to have as a purpose: the role of women in tech - mainly python. I searched your PyLadies info, and there I found a Lisbon chapter email; I emailed them a while back and there was no answer. That's why I am addressing you. We want to leverage PyLadies in our PyCon; if there's already a chapter in Portugal, we'll help build awareness; if not, we want to help set the momentum for it. What can you tell me about Portuguese contacts, and in what ways could you help us? We can set a booth for PyLadies; you can produce a parallel session, perhaps a PyLadies avatar wall with all those beautiful worldwide avatar designs, ...
