How to add custom directory based on downloaded files? #4109

Question

Hi, how can set different download folder based on the files/package that I'm downloading? Similar to IDM that has different categories/location for docs/software/videos etc I only see the default download folder in the settings.

pyload does not support this feature. pyload support executing script on specific events so You could write a script to do what you want when download is finished.

Hi, thanks for clarifying that I’m just a novice user and don’t really know how to create script. Is there any example i could look into for this? For example, if the finished downloaded/extracted files contains certain keywords or file extension, then it would move the files to custom directory
