Describe the bug Scene exceptions causing the mixing of shows with the same name, yes there are a lot of them. And I cant remove them... please fix ASAP it destroying already downloaded shows.. either don't load exceptions with just the show name or at least use the correct show name as in; Being Human (UK) (2009) Being Human (US) (2011) etc........

You are not explaining how it is "destroying" shows...or how to reproduce it

nydave69 commented 1 year ago

It mixes the different shows together replacing existing episodes... first 3 maybe from the US show an the next from the UK show etc... only way to know is to watch the show an realize that that episode is wrong.. real killer if your binge watching a season.

Here are a few titles that have caused a lot of grief...

Batman (US) (1943)
Batman (US) (1966) Batman and Robin (US) (1949)

Battlestar Galactica (US) (1978) Galactica 1980 (US) (1980) Battlestar Galactica (US) (2003)

Charmed (US) (1998)

Doctor Who (GB) (1963) Doctor Who (GB) (2005) Doctor Who Confidential (GB) (2005)

Dragnet (US) (1951) Dragnet (US) (1967) Dragnet (US) (1989)

Great Expectations (GB) (1967) Great Expectations (GB) (1981) Great Expectations (GB) (1999)

How Do They Do It (US) (2006) How Do They Do It (GB) (2008)

Jane Eyre (GB) (1973) Jane Eyre (GB) (1983) Jane Eyre (GB) (2006)

Lassie (US) (1954) Lassie (US) (1997)

MacGyver (US) (1985)

Magnum, P.I. (US) (1980)

One Day at a Time (US) (1975)

Perry Mason (1934) Perry Mason Returns (US) (1985)

Star Trek (US) (1966)

and this current remakes (told it's popular)

Naked Attraction (GB) (2016) Naked Attraction (US) (2017) Naked Attraction (IT) (2021) Naked Attraction (NO) (2021) Naked Attraction (PL) (2021) Naked Attraction (FI) (2020)
Naked Attraction (SE) (2022)

and lets not forget LEGO

I could make this list easily 3 times it's length with all the remakes and now the syndication of popular titles to local country content and the explosion of channels globally.

Would like to see Medusa take the lead and add both the country and year to the displayed show titles. (actually the country name not the country code, I don't have the codes all memorized) and use both the country code and year in the show file format like above.

I know this information is already in the Medusa database..

The show shows a country flag.. would be nice if it was listed somewhere on the screen since I don't know all the country flags, with the 2 char country code (wish)
