Your example is a bad one. Release groups for anime should be configured using the anidb release groups. Youl have to add a anidb user credentials.
Quality should be configured using quality configuration.
But besides that i do think its a bug.
@p0psicles Thanks for the feedback, but my configuration is fine. I'm adding the required words just as backup to be sure it only downloads those with those words (I did that in the past before using the releaseGroups)
So basically it's a double check to be sure it only downloads from HorribleSubs and the 720p version.
@h3llrais3r I know this isn't the solution you're looking for, but..
I don't want to put 720p quality because than it adds the season one (which was downloaded in 1080p) to the backlog. I want all future episodes to be 720p.
You can set the older episodes to "Archived" if they have a different quality, then you can set the show quality to 720p.
@sharkykh I don't want to do this. I like to see which version I have at any time. 😉 This setup worked in the past so I think something broke it.
I like to see which version I have at any time. 😉
What do you mean? Archived status has a quality.
Ah, I thought version (quality) was not visible in archived status. But anyway, I don't want to use the archived status for this since it's not really archived.
@h3llrais3r i'm looking at one issue at a time there.
I've tried to use the required words. And that works fine for me.
But then you said: but now it seems to ignore my preferred 720p word
Is required words not working or preferred words?
@p0psicles I'm only replying on the questions of @sharkykh I know you're busy with a lot of things, so no need to rush. Of course I mean required words. (corrected it in issue description)
Then youl have to share a complete debug log. Especially the logs regarding the pick best results
are important.
@p0psicles debug log added in issue description. I don't see anything related to required words.
EDIT: required words are not working for anime, however, they seems to work for normal episodes (I tried it for 12 monkeys with hd quality and required word 720p and it downloaded a 720p version). Did you try it for anime also or only for normal shows?
Wait, I haven't tried anything for preferred words. Only tested required words. So we can conclude that required words isn't an issue, also not with anime.
Then on to preferred words, i'll try to reproduce that.
@h3llrais3r can you change your initial description, to avoid confusion for others who join this issue?
@p0psicles I mean required words
... for some reason I always type preferred... 😕
And I updated initial description and added debug log in initial description.
Please be more carefull then. As mistakes like these can have us waste allot of time.
But as a matter of fact i did test it with anime. Tokyo goul to be exact.
Can you test with basilisk also, with the same config as mentioned in issue description?
I tried this yesterday in a clean setup (master) and got the problem.
Debug log is added in initial issue description. As you can see there, there is nothing in the logs related to required words
.
Are you doing a season back search? Because it looks like that. Can you first test this, searching a single episode?
Also I still suspect your sending an incomplete log. But i'm not sure about that. I have to reproduce it to be sure.
At least when your running a single ep backlog/forced search, it should mention picking a best result.
It's listing picking the best result...
, see log in initial post.
It should be the complete log from marking the episode as wanted, which triggers the backlog search, to the download of the 1080p version instead of the 720p version.
But it doesn't mention anything related to required words...
When I tried the same for 12 monkeys, it did list some logging related required words.
I think I know what the "issue" is. If it finds any
of the required words, it will pass the release. So if it doesn't find any
of the required words, it will block it. As you added horribleSubs, it will allow the HorribleSubs release even if it doesn't match on the 720p
Nice catch... I confirm that it's like you explained above. I removed HorribleSubs
from the required words and now it downloads the 720p version.
Is this as intended? Or is this a bug?
I think it's intended, or at least always has been like this. We could add an option that allows you to add/change the operator. Like choose between AND/OR. But right now it is what it is.
Ok, thanks for investigation. Will only use 1 required word for now.
It seems that my required words are not longer taken into account. I've set the quality to HD (720p and 1080p) but filled in 720p as a required word. I don't want to put 720p quality because than it adds the season one (which was downloaded in 1080p) to the backlog. I want all future episodes to be 720p.
This was working fine in the past, but now it seems to ignore my required 720p word.
