it's indeed complicated because it has to interface between your downloaders (torrent and/or Sabnzbd/nzbget) plus Medusa.

what's not working for you? get it working with your downloader first to ensure it can be called properly, then ask for help where you get stuck

fire222 commented 5 years ago

thanks for the reply I have it all on one desktop computer medusa/sabnzbd when sab tries to run nzbtomedia I get this error

I've tried following the instructions to set this up more than 20 times and this is the closest I ever get to it working...then I just switch back to letting medusa post process every 10 min and it works fine...but I would like to use the failed downloads feature otherwise I wouldn't even bother with any of this any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

a10kiloham commented 5 years ago

It looks like the nzbToMedia is misconfigured but these longs aren't helpful. Also your directory structure is a headache! The directories are hard to parse here. how about this: 1) create a directory called c:\nzbToMedia and download all your nzbToMedia files there - download a fresh copy or just do the git clone while at the c:\ prompt 2) share your autoProcessMedia.cfg file (taking out passwords obviously) here to clarify what's happening in your setup 2) inside that folder will be a log folder too. You'll need to get logs from that folder to say where the nzbToMedia error is coming from.

fire222 commented 5 years ago

ok thanks will take me a while to download and setup again..see what I come up with later

fire222 commented 5 years ago

sorry for the delay got busy and forgot about this so I just did this again the way you said and now in nzbtomedia log file it says ERROR ::MAIN: Unable to migrate config file C:\nzbToMedia\nzbToMedia-master\autoProcessMedia.cfg, exiting ... also here is my autoprocessmedia.cfg

We don't have much need for integrating nzbToMedia our selves. It could though, but would need some work. Like integrating the config file with Medusa and specifying some default config.

Closing this as this is not really a Medusa topic now

fire222 commented 5 years ago

a10kiloham was helping me get my scripts working do I start another thread with all the info?

labrys commented 5 years ago

a closed issue does not mean you cannot continue the discussion here however you can also start up a issue request on nzb to Media so that we can help you out there.

p0psicles commented 5 years ago

As labrys said, discussion is free to continue

a10kiloham commented 5 years ago

@fire222 in your cfg file is there something before the [General] line? your cut and paste seems to imply there's junk above that.

otherwise with that error it prob is best opened as an Issue in their repo as it's entirely outside the Medusa domain at that point and they can probably help you troubleshoot better from the command line.

fire222 commented 5 years ago

thanks for the reply no there is nothing above [General] line that is the whole thing..thanks for the help I'll post over there and see what they say
