Thanks for starting it! I was thinking that the structure could be a 1 paragraph summary of major changes, a few sections (4 - 5 maximum) detailing these major changes, and then linking to the changelog for more details.

I'll push a few more changes.

Also @hoodmane I would be happy to acknowledge your work more, particularly on scipy and fpcast which required lots of dedication, but since you would be the first author it would be a bit strange to say "thanks to work by Hood Chatham" in the post. If you see some other ways to do it, feel free to add it. Or maybe we could add something in the acknowledgments in the end.

I was thinking we should put the release notes author as "Pyodide Team" or something like that in any case.
