The pwndbg project on PyPi is abandoned and the user who owned it is not with us anymore (see this obituary).
I would like to claim it as the owner of the https://github.com/pwndbg/pwndbg repository (and the Pwndbg organisation on GitHub) to see if it makes sense to release Pwndbg as a module on PyPi and if not, reserve its name for future and provide description on why it should not be installed via PyPi/pip.
Maintenance or replacement?
Replacement (same source repo but we are going to serve an information how to install Pwndbg properly)
I haven't tried contacting Zach Riggle's family. His email address is zachriggle@gmail.com (although I am not sure if it is the one registered on pypi).
Recently I sent a similar request to take ownership of Pwndbg repo and organization on GitHub and the ownership was transferred to my account.
