Reasons for the request

Hi!

You can see that I'm listed as one of the authors of the project both in pypi and github.

I'm (one of) the main authors of the project. The project was created inside a startup (Machinalis, which I founded), and registered using an email address of that startup (at least that's what I'm guessing).

You can see me listed as founder of Machinalis here. Also, in the same page you can check that Machinalis was acquired by MercadoLibre in 2018. You can contact Leandro Colombo leandro.colombo@mercadolibre.com who runs the Open Source Office at Mercado Libre to confirm this claim.

Years later Machinalis was acquired and all email addresses @machinalis.com were closed, so we cant access those accounts anymore. I would love to upgrade these package to make it work with current versions of python and libraries in general, and upload new versions to pypi. Without access to the iepy-team account.

Maintenance or replacement?

Maintenance

Source code repositories URLs

New repo is https://github.com/jmansilla/iepy

Old one is https://github.com/machinalis/iepy

I'm just starting to work on the attempt of bringing it to life again. I need to upgrade most of the dependencies.

Contact and additional research

I'm one of the original creators, and the others are friend of mine. I contacted them and the person in charge of the iepy-team@machinalis.com was Gonzalo García Berrotarán. As mentioned before, we all lost access to the @machinalis.com addresses.
