The project appears to be abandoned:

• Last release was March 2010.
• Listed source-repo for the project (http://bitbucket.org/diji/pypes/) returns 404 Not Found.
• Listed contact email (egaumer@pypes.org) is undeliverable (host domain pypes.org is now a "domain for sale" page)

Contact and additional research

• Emailed the listed maintainer, but email could not be delivered due to defunct domain
• Searched for the Bitbucket username on other code-hosting platforms (e.g. "diji"), could not find any relevant hits (github user diji exists but has no public repos)
• Emailed Github user egaumer in hopes that they might be the author of Pypes, but have not heard back. In addition, none of the users' repos are Python based, and certainly none correlate to the Pypes package.
