To guarantee that communication is working, and to know when it breaks, it would be useful to have a heartbeat, between pyros client and server.

Celery heart beat has a behavior that is useful. We should investigate it, but what I can gather from seeing it running is :

clock sync necesssary for distributed timestamp checking... (unless we get a distributed vector clock ?)
silently ping periodically with some timestamp
detect if a ping was missed based on that timestamp and warn the user
automatically recover when ping timestamp is correct again.
