Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Some instruments store the ref and ack in the module itself, some in specialized methods modules.

Describe the solution you'd like Use a standardized format with methods files and the general init routine.

Describe alternatives you've considered Access these strings via functions similar to pysatMadrigal.

Bumping this issue due to complications in the existing setup. omni data requires a tag pass-through, which is not supported by the existing standard default routine.
