Release 1.7.0 #326

Fixed the date, after one approval I'll merge and we can tag this commit.

Tagged a release, I'm not listed on PyPI so someone else will have to create the distributables from the tag v1.7.0 and upload them. @nir0s / @HorlogeSkynet ?
