Thanks. Will start looking at other threads to see What the solution is. I assumed running latest poetry is sufficient. Clearly not. (Maybe it suffers from the same issue or some underlying package not updating 🙃)
I did look for duplicates but i assumed there will be an open issue if running latest poetry does not resolve it. Will post steps and close after.
What we did:
I am still not 100% clear why poetry running on the latest version does not upgrade pkginfo as well, but one guess is that it's due to this bug itself....
Description
We use an internal jfrog (https://jfrog.com/) pypi mirror, and we are seeing an issue where
poetry lock
is missing dependencies for some packages e.g.v1: set primary to pypi ('works')
This version of
pyproject.toml
creates the right poetry.lock file with the right depdencies (e.g. a dependency onpsutil
)v2: set primary to jfrog ('fails')
creates this much shorter
poetry.lock
Python Sysconfig
Example pyproject.toml
