I've encountered a recurring error that I suspect is related to the implementation of bfloat16 in grid_sample
, similar to the issue described here issue. Upgrading PyTorch to version 2.2.1 might resolve this problem, but it appears to be incompatible with flash_attention_2
, which makes it challenging for me to test the solution personally. @andife, have you attempted to upgrade PyTorch? Also, do you know if there are any plans to incorporate bfloat16 support into grid_sample

@patrick-tssn not yet. I got the latest dev version at the time of the evaluation, but haven't looked at it again since posting. I will hopefully do so shortly.

Executing a pytorch-lightning models results in the following error:
Is there a way to use 16bit? without getting this error? Maybe for that part it is not tried to use fp16? the configuration is:
