Hi @FiReTiTi
We didn't change anything to Mask-RCNN in-between these versions.
I'm trying to rule-out torchvision as the source of discrepancy: can you check whether the output of torch.load(WeightsPath, map_location=Device)
is the same in both envs?
@NicolasHug Thank you for your answer.
I printed the outputs in both environment.
As one has GPUs and the other does not, I removed ,device='cuda:0'
from the file exported on the GPUs environment.
Then I didn't find any difference between the files using the linux diff
command.
I printed the models before training and after training (when recreated to load the trained weights).
The RPNs seems to be the same, see attached screenshot.
In fact, the model entire print is the same (compared with diff
command).
Mmm... mea culpa. It seems that a corrupted file appeared in the middle of the wrong directory and replaced the proper weights. Everything is working fine now.
🐛 Describe the bug
I created a Mask R-CNN model using a set of parameters that I saved in a JSON file. Once the model was trained, I saved the weights using
torch.save(model.state_dict(), "MaskRCNN.pt")
. Later, I recreated the same model and loaded the saved weightsmodel.load_state_dict(torch.load("MaskRCNN.pt", map_location=Device))
.On my laptop (MacBook Pro M2) using Torch 2.2.2, TorchVision 0.17.2 (most up to date for this environment), and CPU only, everything works just fine.
However, on a cluster based on Centos with Torch 2.4, TorchVision 0.19 (most up to date for this environment), and Cuda 12.1.1, I get the following error when loading the weights:
The code is exactly the same on my laptop and on the cluster. I double checked, and I used exactly the same parameters to create ALL the models.
How can I fix this?
