Adjust logging levels in Gatherer and Segment Gatherer #66

This PR adjust the logging levels and some of the log messages in gatherer.py, segment_gatherer.py and the methods they call from the library part.

I'm closing this and re-creating from the current main branch, too much effort to rebase this to fix the conflicts.
