[WIP] Factorize code using OOP #9

This PR makes use of OOP to simplify the code and make it more modular.

TODO:

[x] Provide an example yaml config file
[x] Adapt legacy cfg reader to use the new classes
[x] Fix combined scheduler
[x] Update documentation
