Any plans for a McIDAS area file reader or GOES-16/17 L2 reader?

Hi @WxmanJ, thanks for your interest in satpy! There is a PR open for the level2 ABI data, so it shouldn't be long before it's integrated to satpy. As for the McIdas area files, I haven't heard anyone working on that, but PRs are always welcome!
