Yes, it's a bug. I'll work on the fix.

I am trying to overlay a 3D diffeomorphic warp field on a MRI image as 3D grid.
When I try to display it as a base layer, it works fine. But, when I use the overlay option for the same, it works in ITK-SNAP 3.8 but NOT in ITK-SNAP 4.1 (Git commit date 2023-03-17 17:43:23 -0400); and it gives an RGB looking overlay instead of the 3D grid.
