The more I read about heroku, the less I'm excited about maintaining all the hoo-hah for making it easy for someone to get richard running on heroku.
I think it's worth looking at Appsembler: http://appsembler.com/
I think we should either nix this issue or convert it. If we convert it, I should ping Nate (appsembler) and Carl (nextdayvideo) about it since I think it'd be super useful for both of them.
When people start to ask about heroku, we can always come back and discuss it. Until then, if appsembler would be useful for Nate and Carl, we should concentrate on this. I'm fine with nixing or converting.
I'm going to close this out, then.
I'll talk to Carl and Nate separately, but that doesn't need to be a richard issue.
Find out what is needed to deploy richard on heroku and if we can make it easier.
