Bring develop into main for 0.11.0 release

Description of the change

This brings all changes on develop since the previous release into main for the 0.11.0 release.

Other changes not on develop (will be brought to develop from main after release):

• Fixed a regression I introduced when allowing a padding parameter to StereographicPlot.restrict_to_sector(). Added a test to catch this regression before I fixed it.
• Restrict notebook tutorial code lines to 77 characters to fit PyData sphinx theme's width
• A few cosmetic adjustements to examples
• Plot color key next to orientation maps in (mis)orientation clustering tutorials
• Updated docstrings for methods supporting chunk_size following comments by @maclariz in #429 (thanks).
