Tidying up of mechanisms for multi-module web applications #209

Applies as of Impala 1.0M6

Need to take another look at the way that multi-module web applications,
particularly those involving integration with third party frameworks, hang
together.

Need to document the properties on wiki.

Basically fixed with issue 227 and issue 229. Leave open for any bits and 
pieces to
pick up before next release.
