For inspiration it can help looking at other gems based on treetop.

Some include precompiled Ruby files, others only the treetop files. To keep things easy at release, I'd suggest to not include precompiled Ruby files. Do make sure to namespace everything.

murlsh includes precompiled loads here
fig uses treetop files uses them here (includes interesting multi-version setup)
biodiversity includes precompiled and uses them here (includes preprocessing step)
ceml includes precompiled uses them here
