add runIndex argument and pass on to nm.params.table call inside. Per Klaas (buglist)

Currently, all three have a 'dots' argument that is passed to nm.params.table(), so in principle it should be possible to pass runIndex through. It would also be trivial to institutionalize runIndex in the three calling functions. Any arguments favoring one or the other approach?
