TECHNICAL ACHIEVEMENTS:

Before this project, I had no experience with using localStorage. The concept of storing data in the browser's local storage was completely new to me. I found it really exciting to be able to use the localStorage API to save and retrieve data directly from the browser. I was able to learn about key-value pairs and how to manipulate data stored in the local storage using JavaScript. I also learned how to handle errors in local storage operations and how to debug them effectively. In future projects, I plan to use this knowledge to incorporate local storage in my web applications to store user preferences or session data.

I had never used JSON.stringify before this project, despite being familiar with JSON format and parsing JSON data in JavaScript. JSON.stringify proved to be a powerful and convenient method for serializing JavaScript objects into a format that can be easily sent over the network or stored in local storage. I found it straightforward to use and enjoyed exploring its customization options, which include handling circular references and omitting specific properties during the serialization process. Moving forward, I will definitely consider using JSON.stringify to manage complex data structures in my future projects.

I'm having a hard time fetching data in my project, but I'm not giving up. I'm still learning and trying to figure out how to make it work. Even though it's frustrating, I know that every problem I encounter is an opportunity to learn and improve my skills. I'm gradually starting to learn and I'm confident that with practice, I'll get the hang of it. I'm excited to keep learning and growing as a developer.

My contributions as a frontend developer

As a frontend developer, I maintained open communication with my team throughout the project and ensured that we met all our deadlines on time. I actively contributed to both the frontend and backend aspects of the project and collaborated effectively with my colleagues. I'm glad that I could contribute to the team and perform efficiently.

What I wish I did

Looking back at the project, I wish I had used my time in class more effectively to learn more about coding. If I had known more, I could have improved the project in various ways. In particular, I wish I had a better understanding of specific coding techniques and tools that could have made the project more efficient and user-friendly. Going forward, I plan to prioritize learning more about coding in order to continue improving my skills and producing higher quality work.

BONUS WORK:

Personal Achievement:

During the project, I learned valuable lessons on time management, goal-setting, collaboration, embracing mistakes, and seeking feedback. These lessons taught me the importance of breaking down tasks, seeking help from teachers, and working with peers. I now understand that procrastination and lack of communication can be detrimental to success, and that mistakes are natural and provide opportunities for growth. Overall, I will take these lessons with me as I continue to learn and develop in both my academic and personal life.
