Categorise by publisher #25

I would like to be able to categorise by publisher or even developer. Though as
another has said, I would also like to categorise by game series though I don't
think steam has that sort of functionality so from what I know, publisher would
be more feasible.

Although I think if you made a way for people to make a custom set and perhaps
let others add to it (unless there is a way of doing that that I haven't seen),
different category sortings could be made, though possibly quite laborious.

Categorizing by publisher and developer is currently planned.

I've thought a lot about community-defined custom sets in the past, and it's
pretty problematic once you start considering the details. In addition to the
logical difficulties, a reasonable implementation of such a thing would require
a server-side component for the program to connect to, and obviously a server
to run it. I'm not going to say it's off the table, but to be blunt, it's
probably not going to happen.

I sorta meant like a a txt file or whatever that just gets made by the program
and people can distribute it around on forums or something. Though I can see
how people might find it hard to find them.

Something like that could work, sure. I'll keep it in mind when I'm adding
alternative categorization methods.
