I have a Latitude-3510, and almost everything is properly working, but I tested HDMI and it is somehow electrically recognized by some android interactive screens, that inform the user they have detected activity in the connected port, but showing a black scanning screen which finally reverts to previous input.
I am currently writing some framebuffer configs to my OC, following some guides, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8esNA6uu0M with no success.
Having said this, maybe you can test your HDMI port and consider if you need your own upgrade (or help) or it is not necessary in your laptop.
