Doesn't work, adding directories and trying to find dupes says 0 files exist #1053

I just installed and tried it out on some files I want to check for dupes... but nothing. It seems like it is not recursing like it should.

I even created a subdir and duplicated some files. It seems to not find any files. The drive is an NVME SSD but that shouldn't have anything to do with it. Seems like there is a bug in the code somewhere as obviously these file routines are pretty basic.

I've tried windows gui with and without console. Nothing. Best I can tell is that it is looking for files(it would be nice if it actually showed some feedback about how many files it has found rather than how many it has matched. On the SSD the number changes to fast and usually shows 0 before it disappears. It seems to be finding files as I do see the number jump sometimes but I enver get any results even when I created dupes.

Tried running as admin but same problem.

I am getting this same issue. Also tried running as admin, and I cleared my config just to verify that it cant find a specific folder/its files, even if I target only that folder. Drive is a 3TB HDD, which I previously defragged yesterday.

Still facing this issue with Czkawka 8.0.0 on Linux.
