Sorting does nothing at all for me, it doesn't even produce an output in terminal. Version 6.1.0 flatpak running on Fedora.
same here on qindows GUI, 34k images in 18k groups, clicked on sort, stopped responding. process lasso show that cpu usage and memory are still fluctuating, so i decided to leave it running for a few minutes. after about ten mins, it came back to life, but it was not sorted, selecting the same sort option did nothing. selected another sort option and it's now stuck again,I I'm waiting to see if comes back to life to try and swap between both sorts that were already 'calculated' to see what happens.... FYI earlier on a duplicate files search query, sorting just crashed the app.
Desktop (please complete the following information):
Bug Description (I am absolutely new Czkawka)
I have tried to find duplicates in my /home directory. Recursively. Czkawka processed about 141.000 files. and reported
I then tried to Sort (Next to Selection in the bottm area) by "Directory". This caused my Cinnamon to be blocked for about 30 minutes. During this time about 2 out of 12 processors where utilized above average accumulating to roughly 100% (combined). No input nor any action was possible to be carried out during this period of time, neither in Czkawka nor in Cinnamon
In an earlier test I was able to kill Cinnamon, re-login and found Cczkawka_gui still running at about 100% CPU. I was able to terminate it.
