2 years ago Subscribed. It's not enough to just cut the 3.3v rail to the FS-HF060 because it will still get power from other pins. Also removing the module completely doesn't work because the radio fails to boot without it. Very awesome enhancement in my opinion, and one that would extend the radio's life a lot for me!

When the Tx is used with an external PPM transmitter module (e.g. for a different protocol than AFHDS2A/AFHDS), the option for disabling the built-in Tx radio altogether in a given model would be helpful in order to reduce the amount of radio noise and to save the Tx battery a bit.
