You shouldn't need to use a standard PSU to power the iMac because the analog board takes care of that. Are you using an arduino to send the init sequence?

I have been testing some voltages. As far as i know by just having the computer pluged in the J20 pin of 5V trickle voltage should be 5V? My tester read 0.1. What gives the 5V to the J20? The analog board? or the down converter?
Have you made any progress with this?
No, still same issue don't know whats the problem, I just give up probably the thing that was like a PSU ( I don't remember its name) is broken the iMac wasn't wworking well before trying this.
At first when I click the button it turned on and you heard the electric sound and the green led also turned on, now it doesnt turn on so I supose there is a power issue. Is there anyway i coul use a standard computer PSU to power it?
