Ability to turn off round location marker or change size

What new or enhanced feature are you proposing?

The ability to turn off the new round red semi-transparent location marker
or change its size. 

What goal would this enhancement help you achieve?

The marker was a good idea, but most of the time I just find it an eye
sore. Sorry! 

Perhaps you could point me to the file so I could hard code the change myself?

You could just modify the PNG image: marker1.png
Keep in mind you should keep the resolution of the image to 256x256

Thanks, should have figured that out myself. :) Its all looking the way I like 
it
again now. Because I am using a very small computer (eeepc with 10 inch screen) 
the
default graphics sizes look too big.
