Importing GPS details from file

First of  All, I ve to say it s an excellent project. Well Done

What new or enhanced feature are you proposing?
I propose to add the ability to ve a tool to import a file for example an
XML file or CSF, containing GPS locations & other data to be displayed on
the downloaded map.

What goal would this enhancement help you achieve?
It will help in retrieving stored data in GPS offline tracking devices &
monitoring vehicles fleets offline instead of using online connection all
the time.

I'm not sure, but I guess this is the same as Issue 79 GPS traces (GPX), take a 
look at 
some sample GPX files:
 http://www.openstreetmap.org/traces
Please let me know if that is the same...
