What new or enhanced feature are you proposing?
 Now that we have GPS capabilities it would be good to add a way to save GPS 
traces.

What goal would this enhancement help you achieve?
 Allow users to upload the GPS traces to OSM:
 http://www.openstreetmap.org/traces

Got here from Issue 101 -- fwiw I'd love to see this in a future release. I 
would have been so thrilled to have this entire setup a few years ago when gas 
was cheaper and I was driving all over the state on various adventures.

Hello lerudd, There are many many features I would love to add to GMapCatcher, 
you probably noticed that I entered this issue back on August 2009. To be 
completely honest this project is not profitable, I have not get any sponsors. 

Is very hard to justify spending time on this when I do have some other paid 
projects.

Please post user experiences (even if you find no problems :P) as I think it's 
only tested by me at the moment, not sure if it works correctly... There's also 
some changes to the usage in the latest SVN version compared to 0.8.0.0 
(basicly we're treating GPS track as normal track, which you can toggle from 
track control etc).
