What was changed
Introduce single sign-on (SSO) using ORCiD (https://orcid.org) profiles.
Open Question Currently the user is redirected back to the login screen after orcId confirmation, however this is confusing since the user has no password, should the user be directed to her landing page after email confirmation in this case?
We dispatch emails solely after domain events, however the figma prototype allows the user to resend the email containing the validation. I'm unsure how this can be included in our frontend.
How to test Since the orcId confirmation is bound to qpylon this is only testable on our test instance.
