What version are you using?
3.0.11-0ubuntu1 (Ubuntu Saucy)
That's what I thought. The v3.1.x series contain fixes for that. You can use our ppa: https://launchpad.net/~hydr0g3n/+archive/qbittorrent-stable/
This still happens in v3.2.
I'm trying to download an ebook from a very large ebook collection. I used a torrent from btdigg, using the internal search engine. And when I say big I mean really big, I couldn't count the files but I think they were a few thousands. I think it should use more threads and/or save the list of files somewhere and load it in memory as needed... A new status called "reading file list" might be useful to justify the period of time spent not downloading anything.
(by the way, after waiting for Qt to load the big list I found out that the ebook I was looking for wasn't there. Damnit :) )
