qBittorrent version and Operating System

version: 4.3.1 OS: Mac OS catalina and Big sur

What is the problem

After updating to 4.3.1 qbitorrent it didn't want to open anymore, just bounces there for a while and then stops bouncing and it isn't open

What is the expected behavior

it opens

Steps to reproduce

Had 4.3 installed, downloaded and updated to 4.3.1 like you do on mac os and then it stopped opening

Have you tried backing up qBitTorrent's settings, then removing them, and letting qBitTorrent run so it can create new settings files?

How do I do that on Mac OS big sur? I'm handier in Windows than Mac OS

Only other thing I can think of that might be a problem with qBitTorrent directly is one or more of your torrents may be somehow badly corrupted and qBitTorrent is crashing on trying to load them on start-up.

Did you also back up your .torrent files qBitTorrent is using...and try running qBitTorrent without them loaded?

I did try yes, didn't help, it was working perfectly fine, then I updated from 4.3 to 4.3.1 and it just stopped working, also happened to a installer for tuxera extFS, other programs work like normal

Just figured it out -.- HP and Apple are to blame, seems that cause qbittorrent is from an unidentified developer it opens a pop up when first opening and cause Apple and HP messed up some signing it means you get this pop up every few seconds Screenshot 2020-11-30 at 21 00 37 and cause I don't want to delete the framework I just move the pop up to a corner out of sight and no new pop ups want to appear if I don't OK it, hopefully HP and apple fix this signing issue quick Thanks everyone for your help and niceness :)
