Open Tyestor opened 3 years ago

Tyestor commented 3 years ago

Please provide the following information

qBittorrent version and Operating System

qB: qBittorrent-nox 4.3.4.1 host: Proxmox 6.3-6 LXC: Ubuntu 20.04

If on linux, libtorrent-rasterbar and Qt version

OpenSSL: 1.1.1f

I don't know how to find the other information.

What is the problem

Almost 2GB of memory used for a single torrent.

What is the expected behavior

I expect to not have to micromanage my torrent container's memory and constantly increase it.

Steps to reproduce

Download a torrent.

Extra info(if any)

qBittorrent-nox is installed inside an LXC, receiving download requests from Sonarr.

pve box CPU: i3-9100 RAM: 2x Samsung DDR4-2666 32GB/2Gx8 ECC CL19 Server Memory

Also qBittorrent-nox is running inside an LXC. The download location is in my Windows 10 machine. The download location is a Windows 10 share bind mounted via cifs to the LXC containing qBittorrent-nox.

I just had to increase the memory again:

It's only seeding now.

Tyestor commented 3 years ago

When I restart the LXC the memory usage is back to what I would expect, and the single torrent is still seeding correctly.

I assigned the Can't reproduce label but I haven't tested with a setup identical to yours, just a standard Linux distro running on bare metal.

i have the same issue. Proxmox is just an hypervisor so no differences between lxc container and bare metal server
