cannot download anything metadata keeps loading

qBittorrent & operating system versions

qBittorrent: 4.3.8 x64 Operating system: macOS Big Sur 11.6 x64

What is the problem?

Unfortunately, I am trying to add torrents using the search engine, and all I see is metadata keeps downloading and the file doesn't appear. I'll attach a screenshot for reference (torrent hash: de1dee8243eec337d44c9ccbfc09a7aa53092428)-

Steps to reproduce

I tried to restart the computer and quit and relaunch the app multiple times, after which I still couldn't be able to download anything using the search engine, it just keeps searching for the metadata. I tried using the parallel torrent software transmission and it seemed to be working just fine.

Not everything and not all the time. I guess it's because of a faulty VPN connection. I've restarted both QBT and VPN and all is normal.

Actually it seems to be working now, after a few restart attempts. Quite an interesting bug, I'm not using a VPN client 🤔

It might not necessary be a bug, but if there are for example no seeders/leechers available it cannot retrieve any data. Ergo: it will always keep loading.

@FranciscoPombal You could see this issue I see in several people I who installed Qbittorrent, but with uTorrent low normal and without vpn, it happens to me too. Same here in version 4.4.2 x64 Windows 10 and 11
