File cache unrestricted growth (OS: Windows) #15673

qBittorrent & operating system versions

qBittorrent: 4.3.7 - 4.3.9 x64 Operating system: Windows 7 SP1 6.1.7601 + all hotfixes x64

What is the problem?

File cache grows up to 99% physical RAM overall usage in several hours (all other apps are swapped out) regardless "Disk cache" (-1 auto, 0 disabled, any_number from 1 MB) and "Enable OS cache" (either enabled or disabled) options state.

@velder Can you reproduce with the last official build of qBittorrent 4.5.5 which supports your OS?

Test both libtorrent vesions 1.2.x & 2.0.x

unfortunately, after upgrading to 4.5.5 all torrents stuck at "Not contacted yet" status for all trackers and all torrents (more than 2 thousand), so I can't check, because had to downgrade back to 4.3.6

Seeing the same issue on 4.5.5 (Ubuntu OS)
