Invalid argument when adding torrents #17938

qBittorrent & operating system versions

qBittorrent: 4.4.5 x64 Operating system: Ubuntu 22.04.1 Qt: 5.15.3 libtorrent-rasterbar: 2.0.7

What is the problem?

Every torrent added ends in error invalid argument 25/10/22 8:06 Μ.Μ. - File error alert. Torrent: "whatever". File: "/media/demetris/Media4TB/whatever.mkv". Reason: whatever file_truncate (/media/demetris/Media4TB/whatever/whatever.mkv) error: Invalid argument

Looks like it tries to start the download in Media4TB/whatever.mkv but actual torrent has a directory first Media4TB/whatever/whatever.mkv and this might lead to error: Invalid argument Filesystem is ntfs When you try again to start the torrent it succeeds and goes on to download it

Issue is fixed closing down, good work guys

this issue is up again on v4.6.3, this time it always fail

Qt: 6.4.2 Libtorrent: 2.0.10.0 Boost: 1.83.0 OpenSSL: 3.0.13 zlib: 1.3

4.6.5 is latest stable
