IP Leak #18586

qBittorrent & operating system versions

qBittorrent: 4.5.1 OS: Windows 10 Pro 1909 x64 (unable to update past 1909) Qt: 5.15.8 libtorrent-rasterbar: 1.2.18.0

What is the problem?

Did an IP leak check on https://www.whatismyip.net/tools/torrent-ip-checker/ and it was able to find my actual IP, even though I'm using SurfShark.

Did you select the appropriate network interface in advanced settings?

If I bind to my Ethernet port, I get my actual IP. If I bind to the SurfShark inteface, I only get the VPN IP. But if I disconnect the vpn, QBT won't work, because the VPN isn't connected. Should I leave it on any interface?

So binding to VPN interface works as intended. No IP leak.
